Good morning everyone!! Time to get on board!

I got to watching the news and realized I hadn't gotten on the OH board yet. I'm listening to this most bizarre story about the plane crash in Denton- the missing plane, passenger that walked to the airport but due to a head injury can't tell them where he came from- odd for sure. Sure hope they find them soon.

Several days in the last week I"ve put on my heavy coat and gone outside only to find its too warm for it. I guess I just assume since its almost Christmas that it should be cold. I didn't even need a sweater yesterday. Crazy!

Today is a busy one. I'm going to install a computer system, scanner, and a CCTV out at a woman's house that works as a writer. She's published before and she's trying to get her latest book published. The last time I was there, her house looked like an episode of the hoarders, but her counselor has been telling her that if she doesn't have 6 foot of space cleared when we get there, we won't set her system up. Hopefully its clean. I didn't wear anything fancy today just in case! Then I have a doc appt at 4 and Chris has a counseling appt at 6. So a lot of running around for sure.

Good morning. I'm enjoying another morning hanging at the house drinking my coffee and watching the news. I have to checkon international phone plans for our trip and then we are going to Nacogdoches to watch SFA vs. Rice women's basketball tonight. We have a friend that plays for SFA.

WOW where is everyone?    Maybe they slept in.   I probably would have slept later but one of my dogs decided it was time for me to get up and wouldn't quit barking this AM.   I feel asleep on the couch last night and when I woke up I could barely move.   I guess I was in a position to pull something in my back.    I could barely walk.   I am not a lot better today and that was after sleeping on a heating pad all night.   I hope it gets better today I have to drive to see my middle son tonight and don't like driving with my back in severe pain.   UGH.    I also have tons of Christmas baking to do and I doubt that I could stand up long enough to do that right now.    Not much on my agenda today.   Hope my back gets better I really have lots I need to be doing.    Hope everyone has a blessed day.

I have call with a life coach at 7:30 this morning so I am up earlier than normal. I don't know WHY I would make an appt this earlier.

Nothing special going on in my world today, work, grocery store and visiting Dad is what is on my agenda today.

I finished up my wrapping last night so I think I am all set for Christmas.

I am on much earlier than normal. Only for someone I truly love would I be up this early knowing it will be midnight before I am in a position to get more sleep. Headed to the airport. My bubba has a layover in Dallas on his way from Japan to Virginia. I will only get to hang out for a couple of hours but when you haven't seen someone in over three years two hours is a lifetime. Then it is off to work for my 10 hour shift. Today is our Christmas lunch. We get an extra 15 mins off the phone and I will take it. That being said its my Friday! And I have 4 whole days off starting tomorrow. So ready even though I have all my Christmas shopping still to do. Tis the season.

Last night as Chase was driving to his grandparents in Fort Worth a car pulled out in front of him. If he had stayed in the inside lane Chase might have been able to miss him, but he went across all three lanes. Chase swerved to the left and ended up clipping the guy's front fender, bumper and such. He had Dirk's huge truck because he still had stuff to unload from his dorm at UNT. The guy gave Chase all of his information and then took off. Chase called the police and they came out and did the report. The guys is wanted on four warrants. It was clearly the other guy's fault.

Chase is fine. I don't even think he was too shook up, more angry than anything. He knew he did exactly as he should have so I think that helped him. As for his momma, she had years taken off of her life! lol

The truck is driveable, just "personalized". The passenger fender is a little dented, the bumper sits up higher on one side and the yellow plastic light housing is broken. The guy gave his insurance information so we are hoping that he has some. Of coarse we do, at $900 a month we have plenty! (we have three kids under the age of 25 and 6 vehicles). I'm not worried about it getting fixed, just glad everyone is ok.

Ay yigh yigh!!! (I don't know how to spell that?!??) lol

Love the term personalized! My car has a few personalized spots too. Lol.

JENN-can't wait to hear how your brother reacted to the "new" you! I can't imagine not seeing my brothers for 3 years-how tough that must be y'all!

Work today then City X-mas party tonight with all the politicos and business folks.  Normally this time of year I tend to be the Grinch when it comes to working traffic but I let one Army specialist go this morning without a "lump of coal" to take to Virginia.  Have to get back out there and make my presence known.
